Ingredients for 4 Servings

Dry Ingredients:
- Low-gluten flour: 190g
- Unsweetened cocoa powder: 50g
- Baking powder: 1 tsp
- Salt: 1 tsp
Wet Ingredients:
- Unsalted butter: 125g
- White sugar: 150g
- Eggs: 2
- Milk: 135ml
- Yogurt: 1 tbsp
- Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
Other Ingredients:
- Blueberries: 14 pieces (fresh or frozen, if frozen, thaw first)
- Chocolate pieces: 2 for topping

Step 1: Prepare Your Tools

- Cake mold (around 15–18cm in diameter)
- Mixing bowls
- Electric mixer or whisk
- Sifter
- Spatula
- Oven preheated to 180°C

Step 2: Cream Butter and Sugar

1. Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and let it soften at room temperature.
2. Place the butter and 150g sugar into a mixing bowl.
3. Beat with a mixer or whisk for 3–5 minutes until the mixture is pale, smooth, and creamy.
4. Add one egg and mix until fully incorporated, then add the second egg.
5. Stir in 1 tsp of vanilla extract until smooth.

Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients

1. Sift 190g flour, 50g cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp salt together.
2. Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture.
3. Mix gently with a spatula until evenly combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the cake soft.

Step 4: Add Milk and Yogurt

1. Pour 135ml milk and 1 tbsp yogurt into the batter.
2. Mix gently until the batter is smooth and glossy. This creates a soft and moist texture for the cake.

Step 5: Layer Batter and Blueberries

1. Fill the cake mold halfway with the chocolate batter.
2. Evenly place 14 blueberries over the batter.
3. Cover the blueberries with the remaining chocolate batter until the mold is nearly full.

Step 6: Bake the Cake

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Place the cake in the center of the oven.
3. Bake for 20 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center—if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
4. Let the cake cool for 5–10 minutes before removing it from the mold to avoid breaking.

Step 7: Decorate

1. After the cake has cooled, place extra blueberries on top.
2. Add chocolate pieces for a finishing touch.
3. This step makes the cake visually appealing and adds extra bursts of chocolate and fruit flavor.

Step 8: Serve and Enjoy

Lykkers, now it’s time to slice and enjoy your cake! Pair it with tea or coffee, or enjoy it on its own. The chocolate is rich and smooth, while the blueberries give each bite a juicy pop. This simple yet elegant cake is perfect for sharing with friends and family, or just as a treat for yourself.

Tips for Success

- Keep all ingredients at room temperature for even mixing.
- Don’t overmix after adding flour to prevent a dense cake.
- Gently wash and dry fresh blueberries before using.
- Adjust baking time slightly if using a smaller or larger mold, checking with a toothpick.
