Our unique Koa Wood rings are hand crafted using Koa Wood a species of flowering tree in the pea family, Fabaceae. It is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, where it is the second most common tree. Our craftsmen have taken great care to preserve the quality and character of this magnificent wood.
We value sustainability in the world, so for every purchase you make, we donate to plant a tree. We're active donors to Hawaii Forrest Institute and we have one thing in common – an appreciation for the connection between sound environmental stewardship and responsible natural resource management.
We are humans, with families, kids, cousins, nephews, aunts and crazy uncles. We work hard every day to provide you with the best service possible. We are customer support representatives, project managers, CEO(s), designers, researchers, video and photo editors, we are you - people doing their job.
Our hope is that you and your family will enjoy the rings for years to come and that it becomes a cherished heirloom that gets passed from generation to generation. With proper care - it really will!
- With many respects, MAHALO from ILU Team
