Timon Taught Me Patience
I recently got Timon from an owner I found online, and I just knew I had to take him. I’ve spent many emotional nights worrying that I might not be able to give him everything he needs but every day is a learning day. He’s given my routine more structure, taught me patience, and shown me gentleness.
I grew up watching Primeval, and Timon reminded me of that lizard from the show (I know they’re not the same, but still). I just remember sitting there as a kid, wanting a lizard of my own. Never in a million years did I think that at 24, I’d actually have a leopard gecko!
